YUKIKO HANAMOTO
Since ancient times, people in Japan have felt and worshipped gods in every part of nature, including deer. In the modern times of the 21st century, deer are carefully protected as the messengers of a god; wild deer are hunted in honour as the grace of the ountain.
Focusing on their horns, which have rarely been used up to now, the designer found a strong and delicate beauty not seen in other materials, and considered breathing new life into them. This is the story behind DEER HORN JEWELRY. While carefully checking each piece of material, cuts and colours are added to the design. The unique texture has a presence like no other.
Give a jewel-like shine
to the horn of a deer – messengers of a god.
